This show, which opens on Saturday and runs until September 15, traces the evolution of historical narration in Poland.

It is a vivid exploration of how historical events and cultural heritage have been documented and preserved through various mediums over the centuries, and is a show valuable for anyone interested in how storytelling has shaped the understanding of Polish history and heritage.

The exhibition is organized into six distinct modules, each highlighting different media used to tell Poland's history.

Visitors can explore medieval chronicles, Baroque artworks and modern interpretations through cinema and digital media.

Among the rare artifacts on display are a 15th-century shield and ancient manuscripts, providing a tangible connection to Poland's rich past.

Curator Michał Bąk emphasized the exhibition's immersive nature, stating: “This exhibition allows visitors to experience the multifaceted ways history has been recorded and remembered, showcasing our rich heritage.”

The show connects historical storytelling through a broad range of exhibits. It covers historic events and important figures from the country's past as well as social and religious rituals and includes sections on art and literature, film, multimedia and architecture.

The exhibition is designed to not only showcase a rich selection of artefacts but also engage visitors through interactive elements. These include digital installations that allow visitors to delve deeper into specific historical periods and events, presenting an educational experience.

The Polish History Museum aims to make history accessible to a broad audience, emphasizing that history is not just for scholars but for everyone. This approach is reflected in the exhibition's design, which caters to both history enthusiasts and casual visitors.
